Twenty-two students and seven mentors attended the TSNRP Writing Workshop held July 24-26, 2023, at North Island Naval Air Station in Coronado, CA. This in-person workshop provides dedicated, mentored writing time for military nurses who have completed or are developing a scholarly writing project that will advance the science of military nursing.
This is a demanding three full days of active writing, individual critique, and self-reflective learning, with assigned homework every evening. Committed one-on-one mentoring time was provided and students walked away feeling more comfortable with a completed draft for publication.
